Invenţia se referă la un covor pe suport poliuretanic, având un suport preparat prin aplicarea unei dispersii apoase de poliuretan sau de material care formează poliuretan pe dosul substratului covorului. Invenţia elimină necesitatea preparării unui suport poliuretanic, din componentele monomerice, la locul fabricării covorului. Covorul pe suport poliuretanic, conform invenţiei, poate fi fabricat eficient, printr-un proces continuu.
